The Headquarters, 3 Division of the Nigerian Army, has reacted to the news making the rounds on the various social media platforms in respect of the missing immediate past Chief of Administration (Army), Major General Idris M Alkali (Rtd).
There were reports on social media platforms that eleven cars and two corpses had been recovered from the same pond that the missing General’s car was found.
It described the report as false and misleading.
It, therefore, urged the general public to disregard news being circulated on the social media, stressing that it was the handiwork of the fifth columnists.
Kayode Ogunsanya, Deputy Director, Army Public Relations in a statement called on the good people of Plateau State and most importantly the people of Dura – Du District to come forward and give credible information about the whereabouts of the missing retired senior officer.
