Police Yobe State Command has reminded the citizens on the ban for the use of tinted glass on Vehicles.
Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Yobe Police Command, Deputy Superintendent of Police, DSP, Jafiya Zubairu disclosed this to newsmen in a signed statement.
“The restriction on the use of tinted glass nationwide is still in place, only those that have factory fitted tinted glass with Police permit and those that duly obtained such may be allowed to ply the road. Those without permit are hereby warned to withdraw such from the road as the vehicle stands the risk of being impounded and occupants are liable for prosecution. “
In another development, the Police notified the public that Nigeria Police have placed restrictions on public gathering and processions in view of the forthcoming general elections.
“Organizers of political gatherings and any other public procession rallies are hereby advised to inform the Police and obtain Police approval before commencement “.
The statement said it will ensure control and prevent breach of public peace and order “the good people of Yobe State are hereby enjoined to cooperate with the police and all law enforcement agencies”.
