Pandemonium broke out yesterday at the Onikan Stadium in Lagos after some unidentified thugs invaded the pitch and beat up anybody they saw on Shooting Stars jersey.
The fight began after an equaliser from Shooting Stars’ Ibrahim Ajani at the death of the match.

Daily Trust correspondent reports that the cause of the disruption was because a player of the Lagos side was down for some minutes on the pitch without the attention of the referee.
The thugs threw missiles and all sorts of things into the field, resulting in the intervention of the Nigeria police officers at the venue.
It could be recalled that the last match of the Ogunbote-led Ibadan side in Lagos against MFM ended in chaos.
Ikorodu United player Chinedu Onyelolo gave the host the lead in the 25th minute after a pull-out by Moses Ebiye from the right wing before Ajani’s equaliser.
Shooting Stars Head Coach, Gbengba Ogunbote described the unceremonious end to the match without the final whistle as unfortunate.
He said the League Management Company has more to do in educating soccer fans and the security personnel.
“It is quite unfortunate that this happens and I think more still has to do be done,” he said.
