Three school children from the same parents at the weekend were crushed by the roadside in Ichi, Ekwusigo Local Government Area of Anambra State.
Daily Trust gathered that the deceased, two girls and a boy within the ages of nine and three, were coming back from school around 2pm after collecting their end-of-session examination results when they were run over by a commercial bus.
A witness who accused the driver of recklessness, said the siblings were standing by the roadside when they were hit by the driver who was picking passengers along the road.
He said the deceased were immediately rushed to the Nnamdi Azikiwe University Teaching Hospital (NAUTH) where they were certified dead.
Sources from the hospital said the remains had been deposited at the hospital morgue, and that the three came from a family of five children.
